Samantha Stewart was hired in June 2014 as the Housing Coordinator for the CT Rapid Rehousing Program in Fairfield County. In this role, Samantha has helped locate housing for over 120 individuals and families to date. In addition, Samantha has been dedicated to sharing effective strategies for recruiting and increasing landlord participation with the Rapid Rehousing program. She has shared these strategies at the National Alliance to End Homelessness conference on Youth and Family homelessness in 2016 and 2017. Samantha has also presented on landlord recruitment for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program in Bridgeport, CT and statewide for the CT Rapid Rehousing program.
Previously, Samantha served as a Public Ally for Supportive Housing Works, where she facilitated Registry Week in the Greater Norwalk, Greater Bridgeport and Stamford-Greenwich communities. Samantha Stewart is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Secondary Education.
