Director of System Performance
(203) 579-3180 ext. 3
Lauren Zimmermann joined Supportive Housing Works in 2013 to see the community through the planning, development, and implementation of a coordinated access system across Fairfield County. Since the system’s launch in 2014, she has worked with key stakeholders and homeless service providers to ensure that the region’s homeless response system is accessible, responsive to individual needs, and evolving to meet the goals of ending chronic, family, and youth homelessness.
Lauren also oversees SHW’s data and performance measurement efforts, working to catalyze data-driven decision making system-wide. In this capacity, she regularly engages local, regional and statewide leadership, funders, and staff to review performance measures and identify opportunities for system improvement.
Lauren has over six years of experience working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. She holds undergraduate degrees in Social Work and Urban Design from New York University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work Administration and Community Organizing from the University of Connecticut.
