Lorrie Jean-Charles is the Housing First Coordinator for Supportive Housing Works. As Coordinator, she manages the Bridgeport Housing Registry ensuring that every homeless individual is known by the community. Lorrie also facilitates Housing Placement Meetings that gathers local providers on a biweekly basis to appropriately match clients to housing and share resources. This collaborative effort has successfully housed over 100 of our most vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness.
Prior to Supportive Housing Works, Lorrie was the Program Coordinator at Family and Children’s Agency where she oversaw the daily operations of the day program. She attended Central Connecticut State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
